A toast to Second Beginnings
Freshman year- round 2 is now over. I am on the other end of the world and left to ponder… was all of that even real? not possibly a beautiful dream of the enervating sunshine and spotless skies of California?
Whatever the case may be I have enjoyed every. single. second of what time I have spent embraced within the walls of Chapman, Of Dodge.
I am no longer a child, I haven’t been for quite awhile now. However the infectious youth that has surrounded me in the last year can’t be denied, it makes me feel older and younger all at the same time.
Animation has been my dream for as long as I can remember, but here I have understood what the true meaning of this dream is. This is a lesson I have learned from each and every one of my classmates. Every day they teach me how to put more and more of myself into my passions.
I can honestly say that I love to learn now. every single thing I have learned this year brings me closer to my ultimate goal. I don’t think it struck me quite as hard before, but this is truly the opportunity of a lifetime and I will cherish it for as long as I live.
